Tap into ancient, natural traditions to activate your body's healing response.

Perfect health sustains when your channels are open and your blood and energy flow unobstructed.  Acupuncture, cupping, Tui Na massage and moxibustion remove these blockages to reduce pain, improve flexibility and boost your energy.

For every patient I tailor the treatment strategy to your unique patterns of health and imbalances.  During the session your complete relaxation is my goal to maximize your body's healing response.  You will leave the clinic feeling calmer and even walking on a cloud.

About Me

Me in office_edited_edited_edited.jpg

I am honored to be able to offer my skills to the people of Fiji after serving the communities of our previous posts in Timor-Leste, Georgia and Kazakhstan. I have also worked in various clinics in Seattle as well as New York City, where I began my career after graduating with an Master's in Science degree at the Pacific College of Health and Science in 2012.  This degree program focused on preparing me to practice not only acupuncture but also traditional Chinese herbal medicine.

Over the years I have developed a keen interest in pain management, musculoskeletal injuries and sports medicine.  This often requires close communication with the patient's physiotherapist, orthopedist or osteopath, many of whom now encourage their patients to use therapies like traditional east asian-style acupuncture as a complement to their own specialized therapy.  This integration of various medical traditions fascinates me, sparked by an internship at the Beth Israel Integrative Oncology Clinic in New York City and further developed by working in several multi-disciplinary orthopedic care clinics.

Meanwhile, life took my family to various posts around the world, and in setting up practices to care for both locals and expatriates alike, I began to appreciate the power of the medicine I practice to fill the gaps in medical services that the local healthcare systems can't quite fill.  The Traditional East Asian Medicine approach to finding balance between the organs and major body systems allows for the balance of emotions, which allows my patience to maintain their health and mental well-being while living and working far from the comforts of home.  My patient-centered approach and focus on your comfort during the session helps you reintegrate your mind with your body, and simulate the phase of deep sleep when your body does its best healing.

In my personal life I seek to achieve this same flow state of an acupuncture session through my favorite hobbies like performing music (mandolin) with friends, as well as through sport like skiing, tennis, hiking, surfing, diving, basketball.  The wisest doctors of Classical Chinese Medicine centuries ago urged doctors of the medicine to cultivate their Qi through creative and artistic pursuits, so that Qi can be passed along to the patients.  I try to follow this advice with as much focus and joy that I can!
